Embeddetech Micro Solutions, Inc. has a focus in assisting customers with their design activities by offering off-the-shelf integrated circuit solutions, as well as providing design support in the development of embedded hardware and software. In addition to offering drop-in integrated circuit solutions, we offer consulting services to assist in system integration, PCB design, and firmware and PC application development. Embeddetech Micro Solutions also offers licensing of modular, easily-ported hardware- and OS-independent firmware IP to allow rapid delivery of your products to market. Products
Embeddetech Micro Solutions offers a single-chip solution, the ISU-USB, which can be configured and customized to provide USB serial port (device mode) or USB thumb drive (host mode) functionality to a system microprocessor or FPGA, over a UART interface. The ISU-USB can also function as an Actel FPGA programmer in either USB serial port or thumb drive mode, allowing Actel FPGAs to be updated in the field. Multiple FPGA images may be stored and used for dynamic FPGA reprogramming. The ISU-USB may be effortlessly implemented into any system, providing in-system FPGA programming and updating capability. The ISU-USB has two UART interfaces available for UART or RS-232 programming or providing system interface to the USB functionality.
